COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) _ It was quite a Saturday night for the Ohio State wrestling team.
The seventh-ranked Buckeyes beat No. 2 Oklahoma State in the quarterfinals and knocked off No. 3 Oklahoma in the semifinals to advance to Sunday's finals of the National Wrestling Coaches Association national duals.
The Buckeyes got by the Cowboys 19-13 behind wins from Jesse Leng (125 pounds), Robert Sessley (141), Keeton Anderson (149), Josh Janson (157), Nick Preston (197) and heavyweight Tommy Rowlands.
Ohio State took down the Sooners by winning the final two matches. Preston's 6-4 decision over Tom Grossman pulled the Buckeyes within 17-13, and Rowlands' pin of Leonce Crump at 7:27 of overtime gave Ohio State a 19-17 win.
The Buckeyes will face No. 1 Minnesota for the championship. The Golden Gophers beat No. 8 Penn State 35-6 in the quarterfinals and topped No. 4 Michigan 26-6 in the semis.
In Division II, No. 1 North Dakota State will face No. 2 Central Oklahoma in the finals. Division III's final pits top-ranked Augsburg against second-ranked Wartburg.
