The search for an accused killer comes to an end right here in Green Country.
Tulsa police say J.B. Cole attacked Donald Green in his home, killed him, then dumped his body in a Kentucky River.
Cole is behind bars this morning, but for Green's family the nightmare goes on.
The day after his accused killer was caught, Donald Green's daughter went to the funeral home to see his body. She wasn't prepared for what she saw.
Terri Sasseen, Victim's daughter: "They tried and tried - they stayed up all night trying to fix him up. When I walked in and saw my daddy - it was like a monster had attacked him."
The exact details of Donald Green's murder are still unclear. The News on Six obtained a copy of J.B. Cole's arrest affidavit. He's the man accused of murdering Donald Green. In the affidavit, Cole's girlfriend says he told her he strangled Green around the neck at the 71 year old's West Tulsa home on Christmas Eve. Then he threw Green's body into a river in Kentucky on Christmas Day.
But in a separate affidavit, Cole's daughter says Green was still alive in the trunk of the car during the drive to Kentucky, that from the trunk, Green said he was cold and bleeding.
Whatever the case, Green's daughter says it looked to her like her father had been strangled with such force that he was almost decapitated.
She says she's been praying every second for God to take away her anger for J.B. Cole. Terri Sasseen, Victim's daughter: "And that name will never ever go out of my mind. It's carved in my heart and in my mind. I'll never forget that name. I'll never forget his face. I'll never forget it."
The funeral for Donald Green will be later this week.
