The couple recited vows Monday afternoon so they could start off the New Year, in a new way. And theyâ€™re not alone; several other lovers tied the knot before the strike of midnight.

The Tulsa Wedding Chapel's coordinator says New Years Weddings were actually down this year, because the county courthouse was closed Monday.
