Those chilly temperatures did little to stop bargain hunters Wednesday morning. Dozens of discount diggers were found braving the cold at least at one Tulsa store.

News on Six reporter Jenni Monet says it's that time of year to see some major markdowns, on everything from Christmas lights for next year, to gloves at half price. A local shopper, "Bargains are bargains, it's worth it." For some of the first bargain hunters in line Wednesday morning, cashing in on the after Christmas sales proved to be worth the wait. Many got the first pick of Christmas items slashed at 50% off, many more loading up on other discounted deals.

And you can bet the lines at the registers have been constant throughout the day, especially where many are bringing in their returns. But store managers warn, don't expect a refund without a gift receipt: without one, you may find you'll be delayed, and walking away with something you hadn't planned on purchasing.

If you haven't made it out here to score on the sales, you still have time. Expect the good deals to stick around when either all the inventory is cleared out, or up until the end of the year.
