TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Reggie Borges came off the bench to score a career-high 22 points and Tyrone Tiggs added 20 as Oral Roberts beat Texas-Arlington 115-62 Monday night.
The 53-point margin was the largest over a Division I team in ORU history.
Ralph Charles had 16 points, Richie Myers had 15 and Luke Spencer-Gardner had 12 for the Golden Eagles (3-7). Myers also had a game-high seven rebounds.
Mack Callier paced the Mavericks (1-4) with 11 points.
The Golden Eagles, who had averaged 67 points per game, topped that in the first half as they led 70-27 at halftime. Borges had 19 points and Tiggs 16 in the opening half.
ORU led 32-9 after only 7:12 had elapsed and built the score up to 47-12 during the next five minutes. In the second half, UTA cut its deficit to 88-49 with eight minutes left, but did not get any closer.
ORU shot 68 percent from the field while UTA finished at 30 percent.
