'Adopt an Angel' is a success

You can bet this Christmas will be merry for many needy children, thanks to the generosity of Green Country citizens. <br><br>The Salvation Army says this year's Adopt and Angel program was very successful.

You can bet this Christmas will be merry for many needy children, thanks to the generosity of Green Country citizens.

The Salvation Army says this year's Adopt and Angel program was very successful. Generous folks adopted 6,272 angels, bringing in more than 30,000 gifts. The number of angels adopted this year was a little less than last, but we're told the gifts were much bigger.
