A Tulsa man faces charges in a shocking case of animal abuse. Witnesses called Tulsa Police to the Windsail Apartments at 71st and Mingo around 10:30 PM Thursday.

They told police they saw a man throw a small dog off a second story balcony. The Yorkshire terrier hit the pavement and walked a short ways, where it died. Tulsa Police Corporal Mike Hanley, "We found some blood here in the hallway, in the breezeway between the apartments followed the blood trail around the corner of the building and found the dog there, the dog had died over there."

Another witness told police where to find the suspect." Police questioned 35-year-old Leonard Fisher Jr. They say Fisher was uncooperative. He was taken to the Tulsa County Jail. Charges are pending.
