Students at Tulsa’s Saint Peter and Paul school dressed for patriotism Monday, all to build a giant human flag for Veterans Day.

Red-and white-shirted students scrambled to create stripes, while 50-middle-schoolers dressed in blue played the part of stars. When everyone was in their place, they held hands to their hearts for the Pledge of Allegiance. Student, Vincent Smith, "My grandfather is a veteran, he fought in the Korean War. I think veterans are very special people and should be remembered in history."

After the pledge 50-white balloons, representing the 50-states drifted skyward.
