One woman is dead a man is injured after an early morning accident on Highway 169. Police say the accident happened during morning rush hour north of Pine at the railroad overpass.
Police say slick roads may have contributed to the crash. Tulsa Police Captain Richard Lawson, "Traffic was coming up on the congestion, it had just started raining so the roads were slick. The vehicle was traveling northbound, went left of center, crossed the median and struck the white pickup heading southbound, the truck then slide onto it's side." The woman was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man driving the pickup was injured and taken to a local hospital. Another car was involved in a secondary crash after the first collision.
Parts of the highway were closed while investigators worked the scene.
