David Eads is due back in court in December after pleading not guilty to the murder of an Oakhurst woman.

Eads is charged with the death of his former girlfriend, Jane Neafus. Prosecutors say Eads stabbed Neafus and dumped her body in Pottawatomie County where her remains were found nearly three weeks ago.

Eads is also charged with assault with a deadly weapon for allegedly attacking Neafus' friend, Jessica Smith.
