A Catoosa man has died while in Police custody. Tulsa Police say 27-year-old Shane Spencer was found sitting drunk in the middle of the street.

Officers say Spencer had to be carried to the jail because he couldn't even walk. The nurse at CCA refused to take him because of his condition, so they called an ambulance. He died on the way to the hospital. Officers say the Catoosa man gave them no struggle.

An autopsy will be done to discover the exact cause of death.
