Apparently James Millasich didn't get enough time building model airplanes as a kid. So, he's carried the hobby into his adult life.

This is his half-scale, World War One, D-8 War bird. He built it panel by panel in his girlfriend's house over the last 10-months. At first he tried to keep his hobby quiet, but as it grew, so did his girlfriend's suspicions. She says she never imagined that it would get so big. Now they have to eat breakfast around it so why was it so important for him to build this plane? He says, for the memories.

Millasich helped build one of the cabins in a similar plane nearly twenty years ago.
