STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ At age 65, Eddie Sutton says he still has a few more good years left to coach Oklahoma State University.

``As long as I have my health, and I enjoy working with young people, I'll coach a few years longer,'' Sutton said Monday.

``I told this recruiting class, `I'll coach you guys,''' said Sutton. ``If I do that it would be five years.''

Sutton has a 679-269 record in 31 seasons at Creighton, Arkansas, Kentucy and OSU. He is 249-105 in his 11 seasons in Stillwater.

``It used to be when you got into your mid-60s it was time to retire,'' said Sutton. ``I don't think you see that anymore, as long as you feel like you're doing a good job. It's something I enjoy. I think I'll do it a few more years. How many more, I don't know.''

Oct. 13 is the date that NCAA basketball teams can begin practice. OSU will hold a practice session approximately an hour after the Texas-OSU game, which starts at 1:30 that day. Fans will be charged $5 to watch the practice and all proceeds will go to the disaster relief fund for New York.
