Spirit fence gifts on their way to NYC

After the tragedies of September 11th, Oklahomans did what they always do during a crisis. We pull together to help those in need. <br><br>So many of you dropped by one of our Spirit Fences to leave gifts.

After the tragedies of September 11th, Oklahomans did what they always do during a crisis. We pull together to help those in need.

So many of you dropped by one of our Spirit Fences to leave gifts. Wednesday evening, all of your heartfelt donations are on their way to a church in Manhattan where volunteers will distribute the teddy bears and other gifts to those who need them most.

Your cash donations, nearly $200,000, are already making a difference at the American Red Cross. Earlier this week, some good folks from Dewar drove up to Tulsa to drop off bears and $800.

Our thanks to them and to all of you who gave in the Spirit of Oklahoma.
