(Norman-AP) -- The Oklahoma women's basketball team is ranked fourth in the nation in three pre-season basketball magazines. Athlon's, Women's Basketball News Service and Slam Magazine all have the Sooners as the fourth team in the country.

In addition, Women's Basketball News Service named senior Stacey Dales its pre-season co-player of the year and to its Dales pre-season All-America team. Athlon also named Dales to its pre-season All-America team.

The Sooners finished a school-best 28-and-6 last season en route to winning their second straight regular season Big 12 title and making their second-straight appearance in the Sweet 16 of the N-C-double-A Women's Tournament.
