Local employees of American Airlines are waiting to learn if their jobs will fall victim to the attack on America. The airline announced Wednesday it's cutting 20,000 positions nationwide. Nearly 9,000 people work for American in the Tulsa area, making it Tulsa's largest employer. Thereâ€™s no word yet from American on when or how many jobs will be cut from the Tulsa facilities. Local union officials tell us that information should be released over the next few days.
