OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ An administrative law judge on Wednesday granted a stay of the attorney general's request for a contempt order against ONEOK, the parent company of Oklahoma Natural Gas Co.
Robert Goldfield agreed with ONEOK's assertion that the issues involved in the attorney general's request are essentially the same as those that led to an earlier contempt order from the Corporation Commission against ONEOK.
The company is appealing that order to the state Supreme Court.
The contempt order was issued by the three-member panel after ONEOK refused to comply with a commission order that it submit documents linked to natural gas sales last winter.
Parties have until Monday to appeal Goldfield's finding.
