TULSA school board approves call for bond issue election

In two months, Tulsa voters will decide the fate of the largest school bond package in city’s history. Tuesday night, the Tulsa School Board unanimously approved the recommendation of a Citizen's Bond Committee.
The bond issue is worth more than $140-million. The money will pay for improvements at Tulsa Public Schools. On the list, construction of a new Eugene Field Elementary School. The plan included construction projects at several other sites throughout the district.
The school bond election is set for November 13th.
