TULSA school board approves call for bond issue election

In two months, Tulsa voters will decide the fate of the largest school bond package in cityâ€™s history. Tuesday night, the Tulsa School Board unanimously approved the recommendation of a Citizen's Bond Committee.
The bond issue is worth more than $140-million. The money will pay for improvements at Tulsa Public Schools. On the list, construction of a new Eugene Field Elementary School. The plan included construction projects at several other sites throughout the district.
The school bond election is set for November 13th.
