Tulsa's second Oxford House opened Saturday amid a bit of controversy. Oxford House is a home that allows six men who've gotten out of alcohol and drug recovery to live together in a safe, sober environment.

It is not a halfway house or treatment facility, there are no staff members, no counselors, and it’s a home where men can continue on a sober path with others who've faced similar battles. Richard Gainer, Oxford House: "This is probably the best place for a man to come and be firm and sure in his recovery." One neighbor has complained about the Oxford House.

Gainer says he feels confident they'll be accepted once the neighborhood learns more about them. Any member caught drinking or using drugs is expelled immediately.

The home is located at 1309 E Terrace Place in Tulsa.
