An early morning house fire caused heavy damage. Tulsa firefighters were called by neighbors to 44th and Gary around 4:40 Monday morning. By the time they arrived, flames were coming through the roof; it took crews about an hour to knock down the fire.

No one was home but neighbors were concerned about pets inside. But a search and rescue team found no pets in the home. Authorities are investigating the cause; damage is estimated at around $100,000.

No one was hurt.
