(Norman-AP) -- The University of Oklahoma's Stacey Dales and Theresa Schuknecht have been invited to the 2001 Canadian Senior Women's Basketball tryouts.

Seven members of the of the 2000 Canadian Olympic team and other top athletes will take part in the two-day trials, beginning August 24th.

Schuknecht is a junior from Calgary, Alberta. While playing with Southern Nazarene University last season, she led the team in points with 21-point-four per game. She also led in rebounds with six-point-four per game.

Dales is a senior from Brockville in Ontario. Dales was the Big 12 Player of the Year and competed for the 2000 Canadian Olympic team in Sydney.

Dales led OU to a 28-and-6 record and a final ranking of seventh in the Associated Press poll.
