There is road construction going on almost everywhere, just about the biggest repair and new construction effort ever in Tulsa.

The dry weather is one reason so many roads are under construction. Tulsa is at the peak of a road construction and repair plan and many drivers have been frustrated trying to get around.

The city has three sources of money for the road construction that's underway. A 1996 sales tax package, a 1999 bond issue and the 2001 sales tax money.
