For the second time in a week, someone has tried to grab a woman and rape her on Tulsa's Riverparks trail. Saturday morning around eight, a woman was walking near 71st street when she says a man with a knife jumped out of the bushes and grabbed her.
Police say she fought back and screamed for help and two good Samaritans helped her. The suspect got away, the woman was treated for cuts and bruises. Police say they are looking for a white or Hispanic man wearing khaki pants and a white T-shirt, he was clean cut.
Officers say this attempted rape was not connected to the one that happened near 37th and the River last Sunday, when two men wearing black ski masks grabbed a woman at night.
