A gun battle with Tulsa police ends with one man in the hospital, and a second behind bars.
The shooting happened during a routine traffic stop around nine o'clock last night near 5400 N Frankfort in Tulsa.
As police were arresting the 2 suspects outside the vehicle shots were fired from a nearby area. Police returned fire at the unknown shooter.
One suspect was hit as he ran through a drainage ditch, and was later captured after allegdely breaking into a home nearby.
An hour later, the second suspect was found near the site of the original shooting.
Sgt Wayne Allen, Tulsa Police: "I believe we also found a gun there. So now we have one actually two people in custody, one is in the hospital, of course one is suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.
Toby, Witness:It looked like the one that was doing the shooting I seen him and I guess he fell. When I seen the other cops start pointing guns around trying to get everybody to go in the house. It happened so fast I ran back around to the front of the house."
The suspects involved in the shooting with police are identified as 24-year-old Andre Marshall and 25-year-old Dieonne Parker.
At last word Marshall was in critical condition. Detectives spent the night questioning Parker. They don't have a motive for the shooting.
