The search for a suspect in the carjacking involving a Tulsa man. The carjacking happened Thursday evening at a playground near 49th and Quincy.
Police say 19-year-old Toran Bakhsh told police he was shooting baskets when a man in his twenties approached him and pulled out a gun. Bakhsh says he was forced into his 1995 Green Honda Civic and forced to drive to an apartment complex at 48th and Utica. Police say the suspect hit Bakhsh on the head and took off.
Tulsa Police Capt. John Bowman says "the victim was taken to a medical facility, received a few stitches in his head from the uh blow he received from the pistol but other than that he's fine." The suspect hasn't been seen since.
Police are looking for the '95 Green Honda Civic, Oklahoma tag number IXK-541.
