Calling all World War II vets. Tulsa Public Schools want you! The district is looking for local World War II veterans who couldn't graduate from high school because they were serving in the war.

Calling all World War II vets. Tulsa Public Schools want you! The district is looking for local World War II veterans who couldn't graduate from high school because they were serving in the war.
A new state law allows local school boards to grant diplomas to veterans meeting certain criteria. You must have been honorably discharged from the service. You must have served at least 18 consecutive months of active duty or have been discharged because of a service related disability between September 16th, 1940 and December 31st, 1946. And, you must be an Oklahoma resident.
If you qualify, call 746-6898. Tulsa Public Schools is planning a graduation ceremony on Veteran's Day in November.
