(Undated-AP) -- The Oklahoma City softball coaches have been named the NAIA coaching staff of the year by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.

Head coach Phil McSpadden and assistants Jana Ivy and Harold Copas led the Stars to a second-consecutive national title this season.

Under McSpadden, Oklahoma City has won six of the last N-A-I-A titles.

The coaches will be recognized later this year at the organization's national convention.
