Tulsa Police say drinking and driving is the suspected cause of a fatal accident over the weekend.

Officers say they saw a "drunk and injured" man staggering in the street near 36th street north and Lewis early Saturday morning. He reportedly told them he and a friend had run off the road.

Police found a crashed Jeep Cherokee a couple of blocks away, with a dead man inside. The injured man was taken to the hospital.

The victims' names have not been released.
