(Tulsa-AP) -- Reggie Borges had 23 points and 10 rebounds to lead Oral Roberts past Mississippi Valley State 96-to-63.

Tyrone Tiggs scored 16 points, Ralph Charles had 12 and Cameron Tragardh added 11 for the Golden Eagles. ORU's at 7-and-2.

D'Jamel Jackson led Mississippi Valley State with 22 points. Michael Archie added 14 points and three steals.

Oral Roberts jumped to a 48-to-23 halftime lead after limiting the Delta Devils to just 22.9% shooting from the field. Mississippi Valley ended at 34.8% while the Golden Eagles shot 42.9%.

Oral Roberts outrebounded the Delta Devils 53-to-34 and forced 18 turnovers. The Golden Eagles had just two turnovers and had eight steals.
