While tensions mount in Iraq and Afghanistan some local soliders are back home for the holidays.

Wal-Mart helped bring more than 800 Oklahoma National Guardsmen back from training in Fort Carson, Colorado so they can spend time with their
families over the holidays.

The troops have been away for more than two months after a brief stay at home many of them will be deployed overseas for six months.

Wal-Mart provided means, phone carsd, and bus rides home to grateful families throughout the state.

Charter buses dropped them off in a Wal-Mart parking lot this afternoon. In addition to McAlester and Oklahoma City . A total of 17 buses took troops to Durant, Poteau, Ada Alva and Shawnee.
