NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) _ Reggie Borges missed just two floor shots and scored 23 points Monday as Oral Roberts beat Tennessee State 77-69.

Oral Roberts (4-0) went ahead 8-6 on a layup by Borges with 15:03 left in the first half and never trailed. Borges finished 9-for-11 from the field and 5-for-6 from the foul line.

Tennessee State (1-3) hit 27 field goals _ the same as the Golden Eagles _ but took 10 more shots.

Back-to-back 3-pointers by Luke Spencer-Gardner early in the second half put the Golden Eagles ahead 42-28, their biggest lead of the game. Spencer-Gardner finished with 16 points. Tyrone Tiggs added 11.

Oral Roberts outrebounded the Tigers 40-26. Kendrick Moore had a game-high 13 points for the Golden Eagles.

Roshaun Bowens led Tennessee State with 15 points and nine rebounds. Garrett Richardson and Adrian Pritchett scored 12 points each for the Tigers.
