Tulsa Police were called to the Creekwood Apartments near 81st and Memorial around 2:15 Monday morning.

They found one man unconscious and another who had been injured. Tulsa Fire did CPR on one man but he died a short time later.

Officers say the men were at a Tulsa nightclub, when they apparently got into a fight. Tulsa Police Sergeant Rex Mann, â€œthe investigation indicates that him and a buddy were drinking earlier at the Cloud Nine club located at 31st & Yale Avenue where they were assaulted.â€

At about the same time police were investigating, a trooper stopped a car with four men in it less than a mile from the club. The trooper says two men in the back of the car were acting suspiciously. The driver told the trooper he only had a fake ID. He also had the ID of the victim, and another wallet.

He was arrested for DUI and false identification. His friends were also taken into custody. Charges are pending.

The victim's name has not been released.
