OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A woman died Tuesday morning after being found lying on a porch, bleeding from a gunshot wound. A man who lived with her was arrested.

Nakia Marie Butler was found about 4:45 a.m. by the woman who lives in the house, which was about a half-block from where Butler lived, said Sgt. Charles Phillips.

Butler, 23, was taken to the University of Oklahoma Medical Center where she died a short time later.

Investigators arrested Tony Johnson Sr., 39, on a first-degree murder complaint. He lived with Butler in a boarded-up house from which police emerged hours later with a couple of shotguns and a .357 handgun.

Area resident Derrick Brown said he was awakened about 4:40 a.m. by gunshots. When he stepped outside, he saw Butler in the street.

Brown could hear her yelling ``Somebody help me. Oh daddy, I don't want to be here no more,'' he said.

She collapsed in a yard about two houses down from her residence, then got up and staggered to Lovie Gooden's place, Brown said.

Gooden, who was watching religious programs on television, said she saw Butler bleeding down one side and on the door handle when she opened the door.

``Help me, please,'' Butler said, according to Gooden.

Firefighters came after Gooden called 911. She died at the hospital about 7 a.m.

``This place is getting pretty bad,'' neighbor Tony Walker said. ``Last week, a girl got raped behind the school right over there, and this week we got a murder.''

Phillips said investigators had not determined a motive for the shooting and did not know the relationship between Johnson and Butler, the latter of whom had been arrested 19 times since 1997.

Gooden said her children came over after hearing about the incident.

``They said, `You got to move out of here,' but I told them I've lived here longer than anybody, and I'm going to stay.''
