A long police chase overnight ends with one man behind bars.
It all started in Tulsa around 1:15 Thursday morning when Tulsa Police were called about a larceny in progress at a convenience store at 46th and Sheridan. Officers arrived and found the suspects putting cases of pop into a pickup. The driver took off and the chase was on.
It wound its way through Tulsa streets and highways before heading to Glenpool and Kiefer. As the suspects made his way to Sapulpa, officers prepared a roadblock. Sapulpa Police Lt Gene Wideman, “the suspect approached or city and went through our roadblock which we had stop sticks set up and uh it took out both of his front tires and he was taken into custody about a half block from there.â€
The suspect is identified as 32-year-old Jason Lowe. He faces a variety of charges.
A second suspect remains at large.
