Many of Tulsa's arts organizations are in financial trouble, and Mayor Bill Lafortune is trying to offer some hope.
He's forming a task force to "Save the Arts." The public-private partnership will work to find solutions to keep the arts healthy during these tough economic times. Mayor LaFortune says he sees the task force as part of a bigger plan to jump-start Tulsa's economy.
Tulsa’s arts community generated nearly $85-million for the city last year, and 1,500 jobs.
