Voters in one Okmulgee County town have an Election Day decision that could be the hottest issue there is.

The people of Beggs will decide on a penny sales tax to support the town's volunteer fire department. It would generate about $25,000 a year for new equipment.

The Beggs Fire Department answers calls in the town of more than 1,600 residents, and 119 square miles in Okmulgee County.
