The price you pay to use Tulsa's Parks and Recreation Centers is going up.
From gyms, to community centers and ball fields. The cost to reserve them will cost you more. The Tulsa City Council voted unanimously for the fee increases. The amount varies depending on the location of the facilities. In some cases, the fees amount to only a few dollars extra per game. The new rates are expected to raise $160,000 in additional revenue.
Stephan Riley, Tulsa resident "I don't have any solutions, but I know just raising the rates. I pay taxes, so it seems raising the rates seems kind of unfair."
The higher rates will take effect November 1st.
