(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The Oklahoma Supreme Court is showing some frustration at the high cost and slow pace of getting bombing conspirator Terry Nichols to trial.
Justices questioned prosecution and defense attorneys Wednesday morning about how much longer it will take to hold a preliminary hearing and trial for Nichols.
Nichols is charged with 160 counts of first-degree murder for his role in the 1995 bombing of the Oklahoma City federal building. He's serving life in prison on federal convictions for his role in the bombing.
Justice Ralph Hodges says he thinks people are outraged it's taking so long to try Nichols. Justice Yvonne Kauger says she's concerned about the cost and its affect on the fund that pays for defending people who can't afford an attorney.
Nichols' attorneys have spent about $1.7-million on the case.
