As cooler temperatures set in, the leaves on some trees in Green Country begin to change colors.
As the green chlorophyll disappears from the leaves, they start turning yellow and orange. But in some trees, glucose gets trapped in the leaves. With the right light and temperature, that glucose turns red.
Once that happens, we get a beautiful sea of all those colors.
