(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Two Coweta girls are dead after a collision near Peggs in northeast Oklahoma.

Four-year-old Brittany Walker and 3-year-old Erin Walker were pronounced dead at a Tahlequah hospital.

Troopers say the sisters were riding in a car driven by their grandmother yesterday when she failed to stop for a stop sign on a Cherokee County road. The car was then hit by another vehicle.

Four adults were also hurt in the crash but troopers say none of the injuries seems life-threatening.
