This week's To Catch A Crook focuses on a home invasion robbery where even the children were tied up and held at gunpoint.

As News On Six crime reporter Lori Fullbright explains police don't believe this is the same group of robbers that's been working in Southeast Tulsa.

These bold robbers may have gang connections.

A family was home on September 24th around 4-30 in the afternoon when they heard a knock on the door. When the family answered, five men forced their way inside.
Officer Scott Walton of the Tulsa Police says, "All the occupants were tied up with extension cords of some type."

The victims were a mom in her 30's, a 17 year old daughter, a nine year old and a younger child. The suspects took money and jewelry.

Even though home invasion style robberies are rare, police say, use precautions.
Walton says, "Alarm systems and locked doors and educate young children about answering the door."

The victims say the suspects were five, Asian men. The gangs task force is investigating.

Lori Fullbright, the News on Six, tonight. If you have information about this crime, you can call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS.

You don't have to give your name and if your tip leads to an arrest, the Citizens Crime Commission will pay you a cash reward of up to $2,000.
