(Norman, Oklahoma-AP) -- With a week off, Oklahoma has time to pause and reflect before starting its final run.
Don't be surprised if it ends in the national championship game.
After what the second-ranked Sooners did in their last game against Iowa State, anything seems possible -- including a second national title in three years.
Oklahoma overwhelmed the Cyclones 49-to-three yesterday with a defensive effort that was almost shocking in its dominance.
The victory came a week after Oklahoma dominated the second half in beating then-Number 3 Texas and sets the Sooners up for their final stretch of games.
They're off next Saturday, then play host to Number 21 Colorado. Games with Texas A-and-M, Baylor, Texas Tech and Oklahoma State will follow.
The Big 12 championship game is December 7th in Houston.
