An Oklahoma State Senator is one of the newest members of an advisory committee for the White House office of Homeland Security.
Jim Dunlap of Bartlesville is the only state lawmaker appointed as a full-time member of the State and Local Senior Advisory Committee. Committee members will advise national security Director Tom Ridge on public safety, law enforcement and military issues.
