Dry conditions make for fire hazards and recent rains were a much needed sight in eastern Oklahoma.
Governor Frank Keating removed Haskell, McIntosh, Okfuskee and Pittsburg counties from the burn ban yesterday.
Keating says rainfall totals in that part of the state were high enough for the ban to be lifted.
The four counties were the last in the state to be under the October first burn ban.
