DENVER (AP) _ A jury awarded $1 million to a former employee at a Chevrolet dealership who claimed her pay was cut after she complained that five managers sexually harassed her.

Lori Hanson said she was subjected to pinching, kissing, sexually explicit comments and false, sexually explicit rumors while employed as business development manager from 1996 to 2000 at Chesrown Chevrolet.

She said her pay was cut 60 percent when she complained.

The federal jury awarded Hanson $250,000 for pain and suffering and $750,000 in punitive damages Monday.

Lawyers for the dealership said none of the men still work there. They would not say if the men were fired.

The verdict will be reduced because of federal caps on jury awards in sexual harassment cases. The defense claims Hanson can receive no more than $100,000; Hanson said she is entitled to $300,000. The judge will decide.
