(Houston-AP) -- Big 12 officials say all 8,000 public tickets to the conference's Dr Pepper football championship have been sold.

The sell-out happened in about two hours.

The game is set for Saturday December 7th in Houston.

Each participating university will receive 8,000 tickets which will be distributed through university ticket offices.
