A close call for a man living in a Tulsa garage apartment. Fire swept through his apartment near 15th and Norfolk around one o'clock Friday morning.

Officials believe it started in a workshop area, but they don't know why. The man who lived there managed to get out safely. Damage is estimated at about $30,000.

3 other garages and a house sustained damage as well.
