(Stillwater-AP) -- Oklahoma State coach Les Miles says the Cowboys still have plenty to play for and the character to play hard.

OSU had hoped for a win over UCLA on Saturday, but turnovers hurt the Cowboys in a 38-to-24 loss.

Miles said today the players realize there is still a lot of football to be played this season. Miles says OSU still has a chance for a bowl berth if the team plays well in the Big 12.

The Cowboys host SMU on Saturday.
