Some Tulsa students spent a day this week, finger-painting, in hopes of gaining a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Students at the University of Tulsa finger-painted a huge picture. The event is part of Hurricane Thursdays, an effort to get new students acquainted with college life.
Some 200 students came to paint. TU resident director Amy Davis, "We're going for the record, the current record is 1,500 square feet. Ours is 1,764 square feet, more surface area."
Organizers say they don't really know what they are going to do with the huge picture. It weighs some 250 pounds when folded up.
