(Augusta, Kansas-AP) -- The University of Oklahoma men's and women's and Oklahoma State's women's cross country teams opened the season in Kansas this weekend.

The O-U men finished third in the John Kornelson Gold Classic in Augusta, Kansas.

The O-S-U women were second and the Sooner women fourth in the same meet.

Southwest Missouri State won both the men's and women's events.
